I started visiting Malik a couple of months ago after suffering for almost a year with constant vestibular migraine and dizziness that caused me to eventually leave my job. Malik is thorough in his consultations and manages your expectations from the start. After just a couple of months ive seen a massive change in the frequency and intensity of my migraines and have managed to start to reduce the amount of daily medication that I take. I even feel that I am having stretches of a week and longer without symptoms, which were constant and daily before. I had previously been diagnosed with PCOS, experienced multiple losses and undergone ovulation stimulation which didn't work. I saw Malik as I was hoping to get my body in the best possible state for starting IUI treatment, with the added hope that I might conceive naturally (which in my eyes would have been an absolute miracle) Neither my partner nor I expected it to happen—but it did, just as I was coming to the end of my third month of treatment we got a big fat positive on the pregnancy test. I contacted Malik because of insomnia due to pain caused by various health conditions. I was amazed on my first visit when he was able to almost straighten my left elbow that had been at a 45 degree angle for approximately 2 years caused by tennis elbow. Before this treatment I wasn’t able to brush my hair or raise my arm to the back of my head, After the initial treatment I could use my arm normally and it has remained pain free since! Having had unsuccessfull treatment for shoulder pains and shooting pains down my arms I tried acupuncture. After the 3rd treatment I was pain free from the shooting pains and my shoulder was definitely easier. The centre is very calm and Malik explains the treatment very clearly. I would definitely recommend him and acupuncture. It’s not scary, doesn’t hurt and no medication used.

I started having acupuncture as I suffer with bad endometriosis and often have flare ups of pain which require strong morphine to help ease it. I also have fibromyalgia and my pain was always high on a day to day basis but I learnt to live with it. I was skeptical when I first started as I have had a bad experience in the past. I have been seeing Malik for around 7 weeks now and my fibromyalgia pain has pretty much completely gone and my endometriosis pain is a lot more controlled requiring minimal amounts of morphine. I have only good words since starting acupuncture and I highly recommend if you have any aches/pains or long term health conditions.

If there was more than 5* I would definitely give more. I cannot believe the change in me, not just with the problems I had but my mental health due to not being in pain everyday. I had tremors in my right hand which are gone this was a bonus, I had the tremors for a few years. I had bad headaches and neck pain that literally stopped me doing a lot of things, it was truly affecting my everyday life, I felt so low and exhausted, depressed. Each visit I can feel my old self returning I am down to maybe 1 to 2 mild headaches a wk instead of 6 to 7 severe headaches. I have been attending Acheive Health to deal with menopausal symptoms as I am unable to have HRT following health issues. I hadn’t really heard a lot about acupuncture but my macmillan nurse suggested it may help. Malik is caring and genuine and he listened. He is very understanding of my situation as a carer too, easy to talk too and nothing is ever too much trouble. Even in the first session I noticed a difference and went twice a week for a couple of months and then reduced and now go once a fortnight. In November 2023 I fell and suffere a Vertebra fracture. Lots of pain 24/7 for three months. I was completely dependent on my walker indoors and outdoors. Every step was one too many. Having a course to help with Nuropathy in my Feet that is causing rather strange tingling/burning sensation bilaterally in both fert and lower Legs My initial experience before we started the actual Treatment was excellent. I can't recommend Malik enough. I went to see Malik following advice from my neurologist that acupuncture may help my chronic migraine and daily head pain. At my consultation Malik was confident he could help me and I can't tell you how right he was. I have tried medication after medication and can honestly say nothing has worked the way acupuncture has. Plus no side effects! My daily life has changed, I can SLEEP! and this month is the first month I haven't had a horrendous hormonal migraine in as long as I can remember. Hi everyone, I originally started acupuncture as I’d had two failed rounds of IVF and had read that it can help with success. During the initial examination Malik checked my pulse(s), ears, temperature, hands and feet. He then explained his findings and recommended a treatment plan for me. Malik’s office clearly shows his knowledge in the field as it’s crammed with books and herbs, and he is always happy to answer questions (I ask him a different question per week, and he’s always happy to answer). I have now been having acupuncture for around 10 weeks and I have really felt it’s impacts. - my period has been EXTREMELY painful ever since it started which is about 18 years ago - very heavy and and generally unpleasant. Since working with Malik, it is totally different! It’s every 30 days, and last month just gone I wasn’t even aware it was coming on as there was no pain!!!! WHAT?! It’s no longer heavy either which is just amazing for me. - my energy levels are crazy! I’ve started waking up at 6:30, no problem and I sleep all the way through every night, which I’ve struggled with sleep in the past. - my moods are better generally - Malik advised to avoid alcohol for my treatment package - unsure if this has also been a contributor for my mood, but my anxiety has seriously alleviated. - I’ve got to the point where as soon as I sit in the chair I start yawning, because it’s so relaxing it sends me to sleep! And I have a stressful job so this is really helpful for me. I am yet to have another round of IVF so unsure if this has helped this. However if you are reading this and considering acupuncture I would advise to go and see Malik. It’s an all round health improvement, holistic health care treatment. Plus Malik is friendly and funny and lovely and makes you feel at home. Just a side note - I’ve also tried lots of different medications for my period and nothing has worked. Ive suffered with sciatica for many years now, interspersed with neck and shoulder pain, knee pain and pain in my foot. At the beginning of the year, I was really struggling with my physical health suffering from all these conditions at the same time. I was struggling to walk my dog, go to Pilates, and swim, everything I wanted to do to try and get fitter and I felt thoroughly miserable. I then saw a post by Malik on facebook saying how he could help sciatica. Normally sceptical about alternative medicine, I emailed Malik and within an hour he had telephoned me and we booked an appointment. At my initial appointment, Malik did a thorough assessment and he told me that he could help, although as my sciatica was longstanding, over 30 years, it may take some time to control the pain. I started treatment immediately, the treatment room is very clean, and relaxing and during my sessions, I often fell asleep. Within one session my shoulder and neck pain improved and over the course of the treatment as did all my aches and pains. From being a 10/10 in pain, it went down to a 2-3/10 within a couple of weeks. I can honestly say the whole process from start to finish has been "mind blowing" - how does it work?? Malik is extremely professional and gentle, the needles don't hurt, and his advice and treatments have helped me 100%. I would recommend paying him a visit, he treats so many ailments: pain, infertility, neuropathy, weight loss to name but a few. Don't wait until you're desperate or you've been in pain for years!!

A friend suggested I try Acupuncture for my very painful Sciatica. Prescription pain medication and physio was not helping at all. After a Google search I found Malik and what a find. The initial consultation was very thorough and I felt hopeful, rightly so. After just two sessions my pain had gone from 10 to 2 now I am absolutely pain free and am able to resume my keep- fit classes. I would highly recommend Malik such a lovely man.

It`s difficult to sum up my treatment for weight loss with Malik. Mainly because, although I have never found anything to have such a profound change on my relationship with food, after literally a lifetime of weight issues, I am still unable to understand or explain how it works. But it does, and that is all that matters to me. Like a lot of people who are unsuccessful at losing weight, I was feeling desperate. Frankly, if I hadn`t been, I don`t think I would have made a commitment to a treatment I understood so little about. It was definitely a leap of faith, and one I absolutely don`t regret. Obviously, for weight loss, acupuncture is not a magic pill. You can`t do acupuncture thinking it will help if you are still eating the wrong way. I think nobody gets to 55 years old without really knowing what they should and shouldn`t be eating. That`s the easy bit! It`s a case of actually doing it. What I found remarkable is that from the first session I had with Malik, I was suddenly able (perhaps for the first time in my life) to reasonably effortlessly, follow the eating plan I had been unsuccessfully trying to follow for a long time. Putting into practice what I knew would make me lose weight, even if I hadn`t been able to before. Not picking after my evening meal, not even being tempted to, was the best feeling in the world. But without angst, or feeling ravenously hungry, or angry or deprived. None of that. Just getting on with it and losing steady weight, and losing it well, losing fat and gaining muscle tone. I happen to enjoy going to the gym but Malik encouraged me to walk every day, building up to an hour a day, something I wasn`t keen on at first, but has now become routine. I found Malik, apart from quite clearly being exceptional at what he does, to be extremely knowledgeable and able to influence me, even in other areas of my life. Best of all, I feel I have gained control over food now rather than food controlling me. For someone who has always struggled with their weight, what could possibly be better than that? Following months of painkillers and a couple of sessions of physiotherapy to ease severe neck and upper shoulder pain, a friend suggested acupuncture. An internet search and I found Malik! Following a very thorough initial consultation, I agreed to a course of treatment and I am amazed with the positive improvement, now pain free. It was my first time getting acupuncture and cupping and it was by far the best treatment I have ever received, I came to Malik as I’ve had severe neck pain that shoots down to my arms, he listened to my concerns and immediately knew how to treat it, he offered me acupuncture in my pressure points and hot cupping in my neck and shoulders to relieve the pain. After the treatment I have never felt so rejuvenated and relaxed, the pain completely disappeared and I had the most amazing sleep as I have not been sleeping for weeks. He also massaged the area and he clearly aware of the pressure points and areas in the body that have tension/nerve issues. He also advised me on exercises and foods that can help me with my condition. Malik is very attentive and takes time and care to listen to your worries and concerns. He is evidently highly experienced and educated in this field. The acupuncture didn’t hurt at all as he took care in inserting the needles, the hot cupping was relaxing and relieved tension in my back to improve blood circulation. I will definitely come back to Malik to treat other pains as his methods are by far better than taking pain relief medication as he treats the root cause of the issue. I would highly recommend acupuncture here, as a treatment for Endometriosis. I have only been going to see Malik for a short period of time, for treatment, and the benefit of this is enormous! The pain has significantly decreased from 10/10 to 1/10 and I have less bloating; I generally feel brighter and have more energy.
